About This Site
The site started as a small experiment, but grew more than first expected.
What you see here is the result of an AI experiment, and a wish to have a place where I can gather parts of what I have done, experienced, and been interested in through life.
The idea came from the fact that I use AI daily in my work, and at one point I wanted to test how much of the work involved in building a personal website could actually be handled with AI and the right guidance. What you see here is the answer. Most of the code is AI-produced, but created in close collaboration with me.
If you, or someone you know, could make use of my knowledge or skills, I am available as a consultant or freelancer through my company JOM-IT.
The site is personal and informal. The content reflects what I feel like sharing, and I keep adding more over time as I continue working on it.
I use AI a lot in daily work to solve more routine tasks, for example writing code. My role is typically to design the solution, set the direction, and guide AI, while it handles much of the repetitive work. Then I review everything, refine it, add, remove, and polish in collaboration with AI. This site is a slightly different experiment, though, because it was largely built by prompting AI and steering the process from there. Of course, that still requires prior knowledge of the topic and knowing how to ask the right questions.
AI has been a regular part of my daily work for more than a year and a half. As of March 2026, the development in AI over the past year has been massive. My impression is clear: this is only continuing, and we are still far from the end. At first I mainly used AI for simpler tasks, but today I also collaborate with AI on large and complex tasks, including some I mention elsewhere on this site. That is why I decided to run this experiment: how much of the work involved in building a personal site about myself and my interests could AI help with? What you see here is, to a large extent, the answer. I selected the images, asked AI to adapt them, and got help building the code around them. In my view, it is quite remarkable how much value you can get from AI when you know what you want to build and how to ask.
But AI does not do it alone. You need the right professional foundation to use it well and safely. In return, it is a huge help and constantly adds new knowledge about the technologies and methods you work with. I often come across AI-generated code and implementations that I need to examine more closely: What is it? What can it do? How should it be used? So my clear position is this: do not use AI code you do not understand, or code when you do not know exactly what it does. AI is, by default, a qualified and often very good guess, but it does not think like humans, and it can still hallucinate and suggest solutions that do not make sense.
